This project involves construction of a new Northern Wasco County PUD Tygh Valley Substation to replace the existing Tygh Valley Substation equipment in accordance with these Contract Documents. The new facility, a 69 kV -12.47/7.2 kV distribution substation, is to be constructed at a new substation location. The substation will contain one feeder bay with the potential for expansion to add a second identical feeder bay. The new substation site will be a green field site awaiting final approval of Conditional Use Permit from Wasco County Planning and Northern Wasco County PUD obtaining Substation Easement from private land owner. Existing substation site to remain energized during construction and all existing equipment, structures, and foundations will need to be removed after transfer of electrical delivery from the new substation.
