Northern Wasco County People’s Utility District (“NWCPUD”) requires removal of an existing Double Circuit 115 kV Transmission Line. The Chenoweth-Harvey 115 kV Lattice Tower line requires removal of conductors from existing tower 1/1 to existing tower 1/10 (including removal of towers 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, and 1/10). All indicated towers, wires and associated hardware shall be removed. Existing tower 1/1 shall remain in place with the No. 2 circuit feeding the North Bay of RiverTrail Substation. The No. 1 circuit will require re-routing with the addition of a new steel pole, to be placed south of existing tower 1/1. The No. 1 circuit shall attach to the new steel pole and terminate into the South Bay of RiverTrail Substation. A wood inset pole between structures 1/4 and 1/5, carrying a fiber optic cable, will also be removed. Contractor shall include in the bid: Line/tower removal from tower 1/2 to tower 1/10 (towers 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, and 1/10). Line removal from 1/1 to 1/2, transferring the No 1 circuit to new steel pole and into South RiverTrail Sub. Construction of new drilled pier foundation (size and depth TBD). Installation of new steel pole south of tower 1/1 (size TBD). Removal of towers 1/9 and 1/10, and all conductor attached to those towers, shall be completed by June 30, 2020. The remaining work shall be completed no later than October 30, 2020.
