Northern Wasco County People's Utility District is issuing this "Invitation to Bid" for the
purpose of soliciting sealed bids for the construction, including the supply of
necessary labor and equipment of a project for the District's Mill Creek Road & Downtown Feeder
Distribution Rebuild Project. Sealed bids will be received by the District on or before 2:00 PM,
Wednesday June 26th, 2019, at its office at 2345 River Road, The Dalles, OR 97058.
The Project will consist of the installation of approximately 8 miles of 12,470/7200 V overhead
distribution line, transfer existing services to the new lines, and removal of the existing overhead
distribution lines. The Plans, Specifications and Construction Drawings, together with all necessary
forms and other documents for Bidders, may be requested from Ed Ortega at the District by email at ed-ortega@nwascopud.org, or by phone at (541) 298-3312. Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at
the Northern Wasco County PUD Board Room at the following address 2345 River Road, The Dalles,
OR, 97058 on Wednesday June 12th, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Only bids from those attending the meeting
will be considered.
