The Scope of Work may include but is not limited to: • Contractor shall agree to furnish all supervisors, labor, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials for the sole purpose of trimming and/or removing trees interfering with the District’s lines, cutting brush and undergrowth within the District’s rights-of-way, and disposing of the resulting debris as specified by the District, its agents or employees. • Utility Line Clearance Tree Pruning and Removal, Stump Grinding, and Row Mowing along with NWCPUD transmission and distribution power lines on an ongoing regular basis. The District is a signatory to IBEW local 125. The area where work is to be performed, completed, and managed is within The Dalles area, out to Dufur, Tygh Valley, and Wamic. The Contractor will establish a headquarters located within the District's service area. • Contractor shall agree to secure all permits and licenses necessary for the work to be performed and to pay all charges and fees required for such permits and licenses. • Contractor shall agree to perform all work in accordance with all applicable federal, municipal, county, state, and other local laws, ordinances, and regulations. • Contractor shall agree to furnish to the District, or its representative, timesheets and other reports required, showing the nature, amount, and location of work performed, together with the number of man-hours and equipment hours involved, the quantities of material used, the number of trees trimmed and removed, the number of acres or spans cut, and other pertinent information which may, from time to time, be required by the District. • All work shall be performed during regular working hours; Monday through Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Pacific Time). The contractor's personnel shall be available to work extended hours during storm situations or as workload and scheduling needs require. • All equipment shall be reliable, well maintained, and clean in appearance. Equipment cannot be more than five (5) years old.

To include current prevailing wage determination. • Outline the Contractor’s relevant experience in the last two years. • Provide a list of previous clients that may be used as references. • Include the name, address, telephone number, and email of the primary person from the Contractor who will coordinate the services with the District. • Provide the name and email address of the primary contact on this submission. • See Evaluation Criteria below and include necessary items to determine scoring and evaluation of Contractor.

    The successful contractor will be expected to: 1) Provide a fully qualified and consistent crew. As reasonable, foreman and trimmer are expected to remain throughout the term of the contract. 2) Utilize equipment that is within the five (5) year age requirement and keep equipment maintained in good working order throughout the term of the contract.
