COVID-19

Northern Wasco County PUD is committed to providing affordable, reliable, low-carbon electricity at a level of care and attention that our customers deserve and expect. We have a STRONG desire to not disconnect any of our customers during the COVID-19 emergency, or at any other time. We also feel it is necessary to work with customers to help them get caught up before the high winter usage starts. The PUD understands these are tough times for many of our customers and we want to be active participants in helping to keep the lights on. Please give us an opportunity to WORK WITH YOU before the task seems insurmountable. If you are having difficulty making your payments please call (541) 296-2226 to set up payment arrangements, email customerservice@nwascopud.org, or reach out to our partners at Mid-Columbia Community Action Council for energy assistance at (541) 298-5131. Please let us help you avoid potential late fees and even a disconnect, as we move closer to reinstating our standard business practices.

To support state and local efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, and to protect the health of our customers and employees, our offices remain closed to in-person transactions. Our payment options remain the same with the exception of in-person.

It is perhaps more important now than ever that we all remember the important roles we share in building our communities. Electricity plays a central role in that process and we are here to make sure you can still connect with loved ones, stay caught up on the news and enjoy the other conveniences electricity provides even during difficult circumstances. Our daily operations may change, but the PUD’s commitment to you will not. We are here for you. Even in isolation, electricity ensures that we remain connected, we remain a community and we remain #MorePowerfulTogether.
