You Call Us. Then We Call You.

After you report an outage, we might call you back.

When you call Northern Wasco County PUD to report an outage, that’s often just the start of the conversation. We may call you back to ask a few questions that help us pinpoint and fix the problem faster. Once power is restored, we may call again to confirm your lights are on and everything is working as it should.

For those calls to reach you, we need two things. First, we need your current contact information, so we’re dialing the right number.

Second, we need a little grace for an unfamiliar number. The call might come from our office or even from a lineworker out in the field, so it could be a number you don’t recognize. We promise we’re not selling anything, and we won’t ask for payment or account details. We’re just working to get your power back.

So, the next time your phone rings during an outage and you don’t recognize the number, go ahead and answer. It just might be us, working to restore your power.
