EEUP and IQEEUP for Weatherization

As a few of our programs are still operating at a reduced capacity, we appreciate your patience and consideration during this period of transition and growth.
Currently, we are slowly scheduling Virtual Rebate Inspections (VRI) and Virtual Rebate Eligibility Assessments (VREA) for Traditional EEUP applicants who have applied for new assessments and for those who have completed work during our office closure months.
As a part of ‘The New Normal’, we will be performing all inspections and assessments remotely or ‘virtually’ until further notice.  Customers and/or tech-savvy friends and family members will be asked to utilize their cell phones and/or computers to assist PUD Energy Management personnel in creating or updating your resident workbook via pictures and/or video.
Customers needing assistance or not having the ability to send pictures, videos, documents and emails will not disqualify any customer from participating in an EEUP or from receiving IQEEUP benefits. Special arrangements can and will be made for any customer needing technological or technical assistance during the VRI or VREA processes.

Our traditional Energy Efficiency Upgrade Program (EEUP), Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency Upgrade Program (IQEEUP) and our IQEEUP for Tenants and Landlords are for single-family, residential customers living in electrically heated homes.

At the homeowner or landlord’s request, we will visit your home and perform a free energy efficiency analysis to assess the insulation levels in the attic, walls, floors, and crawlspace, and the condition of your doors, windows and HVAC ductwork.  After the assessment is complete, we will provide recommendations based on the highest possible energy savings and a list of rebates eligible for completed measures.
