Northern Wasco County PUD is committed to helping our customers save energy and reduce their monthly utility bills through our comprehensive Energy Efficiency Upgrade Program (EEUP). Our EEUP offers rebates and incentives for qualifying upgrades that increase the energy efficiency of your home.
How It Works
Getting started with the EEUP is simple:
- Choose Your Upgrade – Select from our available energy efficiency programs that best fit your needs
- Read our Terms and Conditions – Found in the page sidebar menu and below:
- Complete the Application – Fill out our form below and our Energy Management Department will contact you with detailed information and next steps
- Install Your Upgrade – Work with qualified contractors or install eligible equipment yourself
- Submit Documentation – Provide receipts and installation photos as required
- Receive Your Rebate – Get your rebate once your application is approved

Our EEUP currently offers rebates and incentives for the following energy efficiency upgrades:
Heat Pump Systems
Upgrade to an efficient electric heat pump system for year-round heating and cooling comfort.
Weatherization
Improve the efficiency of your home’s insulation, windows, doors and more to reduce heating and cooling costs.
Electric Vehicle Charging
Install a home EV charging station and join the growing number of electric vehicle owners in our community.
Energy-Efficient Appliances
Replace old appliances with ENERGY STAR certified models including:
- Refrigerators
- Clothes Washers
- Clothes Dryers
Smart Thermostats
Install a programmable smart thermostat to optimize your heating and cooling system’s efficiency.
Heat Pump Water Heaters
Replace your old standard electric tank water heater with a significantly more efficient hybrid water heater that uses heat pump technology.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the EEUP, you must:
- Be a current Northern Wasco County PUD customer
- Have an active account in good standing
- Complete the application process before installation
- Meet specific program requirements for your chosen upgrade
- If applicable, provide required documentation
