Pure Power is Clean and Renewable

Did you know that NWCPUD customers have the option of purchasing monthly blocks of 100% clean electricity? You can support the development of new, environmentally friendly, and renewable energy in the Northwest while reducing greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change with a voluntary purchase of Pure Power.

“Pure Power” is clean energy that is produced from renewable and carbon-free resources such as solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, biomass and low-impact hydroelectricity. We purchase one megawatt-hour of clean power from the Bonneville Power Administration and then offer it to customers.
