Finance
Lana Egbert, our Director of Finance, brings a wealth of diverse experience to Northern Wasco County PUD. With a BS in Accounting from Portland State University, Lana's career spans various financial roles across Oregon. She honed her skills at Wells Fargo Bank, an investment firm in Portland, and DAT (a Jubitz subdivision), where she rose from Accounting Supervisor to Controller.
Lana's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she co-managed Palace Homes, Inc. with her husband from 2000 to 2014, building residences in Portland and Central Oregon. Her versatility extended to obtaining a mortgage license and managing multiple offices for Western Title and Escrow.
In 2014, Lana moved to The Dalles, serving as a Branch Manager at Bank of the West (now BMO) before joining Northern Wasco County PUD in 2016. Starting as a Senior Financial Analyst, she quickly proved her expertise and rose to her current position as Director of Finance.
Throughout her career, Lana has embraced small-town living and community involvement. From coaching cheerleading in Colton to supporting youth activities in Central Oregon, she has always been an active community member. Now, Lana's roots run deep in The Dalles, where her husband's family has lived for five generations.
